MC Plaschke (she/they) is an Emmy-nominated writer/director based in Los Angeles, CA. Her short film We Met at Camp was nominated for a student Emmy and played at Palm Spring Shortfest and the CAA Moebius New Talent Showcase. Before coming to LA, MC worked at Saturday Night Live on the digital shorts. Her feature script A Phone Call To Wisconsin has been a finalist for numerous labs such as Almanack Screenwriters and Big Break.
Additionally, she has directed sketches for Please Don't Destroy and her work has been featured on Vulture, No Film School, Funny or Die, and at several film festivals around the country. She currently a staff writer at Phony Content, a digital content company with over 10 million followers. MC was a 2023 AFI Directing Fellow and holds a BFA from NYU. In their free time, they are an above-average basketball player and a below-average puppeteer.
